DISCOVER and UBT-Rad projects at the MELODI Workshop

Two PIANOFORTE-selected projects, both investigating the effects of low to moderate radiation doses on brain oncogenesis, were successfully presented at the MELODI thematic workshop on “Radiation Effects in the Central Nervous System (CNS)”. The workshop, held on 18–19 February 2025 at the Basilica Hotel in Rome as a hybrid event, brought together experts from around the world to discuss advancements in research on radiation effects in the CNS.

Dr. Barbara Tanno from ENEA presented the progress of the DISCOVER project, which was selected within the first call and is now in its second year. Dr. Juliette Aury-Landas from Caen University, introduced the objectives and preliminary framework of the UBT-Rad project, which was selected in the second open call.
