Polish Territorial Defense in CITISTRA Radiation Monitoring

Six brigades of the Polish Territorial Defense Forces (Polish: Wojska Obrony Terytorialnej, WOT) participate in monitoring the levels of ionizing radiation on the territory of Poland as part of the CITISTRA project.

A total of 6 brigades of the Polish Territorial Defense Forces received 80 CzechRad detectors and are significantly involved in obtaining geolocated data on the levels of ionizing radiation in Poland.

ABOUT

PIANOFORTE research partnership aims to improve knowledge and promote innovation in the field of radiation protection for the benefit of better protection of the public, patients, workers and the environment in all scenarios of exposure to ionizing radiation.

FUNDING
