MULTIPLEX Workshops: Advancing Combined Risk Assessment for Aquatic Ecosystems

The MULTIPLEX project held four workshops to address the benefits and challenges of integrated risk assessment for aquatic ecosystems facing radiation, chemical mixtures, and thermal stress.

Workshops took place in Oslo (April 22, 2026), Fontenay-aux-Roses (April 22), Belgium (May 5), and at the 7th IRPA Congress in Liverpool (June 3), gathering stakeholders from academia, industry, and public authorities. Discussions focused on collaboration, regulatory adaptation, and practical guidance for holistic risk management.

Key outcomes emphasized shared methodologies and decision-making tools to protect ecosystems. Feedback collected via discussions and digital surveys (Mentimeter) will guide MULTIPLEX’s next steps.
