The PRESTO project was presented at the 2026
RaySearch User Meeting, organised alongside the annual conference of the
Particle Therapy Co-Operative Group (
PTCOG 64 in Deauville, France 8-13 June 2026).
The presentation was given by Kelvin Ng Wei Siang from
Erasmus MC and
HollandPTC. Kelvin presented the activities of PRESTO Work Package 2 (WP2), which focuses on treatment planning for proton minibeam radiation therapy (pMBRT).
WP2 aims to develop a dedicated treatment planning framework for pMBRT, enabling the evaluation of dosimetric, radiobiological, and radiochemical effects. The framework will be used to design and evaluate treatment strategies and to support the future clinical translation of this innovative treatment approach.
