The results of the Sonora project were presented at the
64th Annual PTCOG conference, held from June 8 to 13, 2026, in Deauville, Normandy, France.
The conference featured a dedicated session on out-of-field dosimetry, with a special focus on pregnant patients. During this session
Maite Romero-Expósito gave an oral presentation on behalf of Sonora consortium titled "Assessing accumulated fetal dose in proton therapy for pregnant breast cancer patients."

Marijke De Saint-Hubert presented an e-poster titled "
Proton therapy during pregnancy—experimental evaluation of PREGDOS, an open-source Monte Carlo tool for fetal dose assessment from clinical plans."
