Symposium on Real-Time Dosimetry & AI for Adaptive Radiotherapy
Join us on 11 September 2025 in Antwerp Belgium for a full-day symposium featuring experts in real-time dosimetric verification, imaging, AI-driven adaptive radiotherapy, hands-on demos in the
InViLab.UAntwerp laboratory, and a clinical visit to
ZAS - Ziekenhuis aan de Stroom (Sint-Augustinus).
The symposium is supported by the PIANOFORTE Partnership project
VERIFIED - In vivo patient-specific real-time dosimetry for adaptive radiotherapy.
The primary objective of the VERIFIED project is to develop dynamic end-to-end methods that closely simulate real patient treatments in adaptive radiotherapy (ART). Our project involves the development and characterization of 3D printed phantoms featuring movable and deformable inserts, specifically targeting lung and brain tumors for ART. Additionally, we focus on investigating individualized patient-specific real-time dosimetry in cases of non-small-cell lung cancer using Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (ART-VMAT).
Target Audience: University students and post-graduation students in Physics, Medical Physics, Biomedical engineering, Robotics, Imaging and AI.
Location: UAntwerpen - Campus Groenenborger, Groenenborgerlaan 179, 2020 Antwerp + ZAS Hospital, Belgium
Spots are free, but limited, and priority is given to university students and early-career researchers. Register
