12th NERIS Workshop

The 12th NERIS Workshop took place at ASNR headquarters in Fontenay-aux-Roses on 28-29-30 April 2026.
Particular sessions presented achivements of PIANOFORTE projects related to NERIS: CITISTRA, PREDICT and RRADEW project from Call 1,
CATAPULT and GIROSCOPE focused to emergency preparedness and response for novel nuclear technologies and CITHARA project that started a few months ago.

Further presentation were devoted to recent and new development related to EPRR Resilience:
- EPRR in armed conflicts, etc.
- New nuclear technologies: EPRR for SMRs/AMRs, etc.
- Sustainability: EPRR relation with UN Sustainable Development Goals, etc.

PIANOFORTE research partnership aims to improve knowledge and promote innovation in the field of radiation protection for the benefit of better protection of the public, patients, workers and the environment in all scenarios of exposure to ionizing radiation.
