Kick-off meeting of the DISCOVER project

ENEA hosted the kick-off meeting of the DISCOVER project on 14th and 15th May.
DISCOVER explores how radiation-induced changes in the microenvironment contribute to brain tumor development.
The first consortium meeting, held at ENEA, included researchers from ENEA, BfS, and NNGYK, along with OBU University,
an ENEA subcontractor. Soile Tapio and Karl Butterworth, SAB (scientific advisory board) members, also attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on discussing project objectives and planning collaborative experimental research activities for the coming months.

PIANOFORTE research partnership aims to improve knowledge and promote innovation in the field of radiation protection for the benefit of better protection of the public, patients, workers and the environment in all scenarios of exposure to ionizing radiation.
