PIANOFORTE partnership aims to connect the diverse set of relevant stakeholders within and outside the radiation protection community to show that radiation protection research influences and improves the lives of all European citizens. You can register below as a stakeholder to receive further information on PIANOFORTE.
Additionally to the registration, the PIANOFORTE national contact points (i.e. the so called Programme Owners and Managers (POM) and their affiliated entities, please see the list of PIANOFORTE participants) are assigned to facilitate the involvement of national and local stakeholders from their countries. All external stakeholders are encouraged to contact either their countries’ POM or get in contact with the WP3 Stakeholder Engagement Team (pianoforte@bfs.de or Jelena.Popic@dsa.no) in case of any questions on PIANOFORTE or ideas on collaboration.
The following categories of international and national stakeholders are kindly invited to register for a PIANOFORTE Stakeholder network groups and to actively participate in the partnership:
International organisations - European policy makers (EC, Article 31 Group of Experts, HERCA, WENRA and others)
International organisations and associations - Experts in radiation protection and other related disciplines (IAEA, ICRP, UNSCEAR, IRPA, ENA, ERA and others)
National policy makers and regulatory authorities – ministries, regulatory bodies, including those at regional and municipality levels - from the different European countries
Implementers – national representatives from nuclear and non-nuclear industries, medical professional associations in hospitals, waste disposal sites, etc.
Education & Training Community / Universities - academia (research centres, universities, institutes)
Civil society and affected communities: national, regional, local public organizations gathering impacted public groups, such as but not limited:
medical patients’ organisations,
citizens (e.g. citizens science networks; representatives of communities living in areas near legacy sites and of municipalities with nuclear facilities),
NGOs,
Media – journalists or other persons in media interested and/or working with radiation protection issues.
