PIANOFORTE school on MESH phantoms

The Pianoforte School on the development and implementation of MESH phantom in radiation transport codes was held in Madrid from September 30 to October 4, 2024. It was attended by 15 participants from 10 different countries (Austria (1), Croatia (1), Czech Republic (1), France (2), Georgia (1), Germany (3), Italy (1), Poland (2), Spain (2) and United Kingdom (1)). Feedback from participants was very positive.

PIANOFORTE research partnership aims to improve knowledge and promote innovation in the field of radiation protection for the benefit of better protection of the public, patients, workers and the environment in all scenarios of exposure to ionizing radiation.
