CITISTRA project meeting

Research team of CITISTRA project met in Prague during hot summer days 27 and 28 August 2024. Representatives of partner institutions from Slovakia and Poland visited premises of the National Radiation Protection Institute. Two days meeting was filled with fruitful discussions on ongoing and upcoming research activities, but we also found some time to visit radon/thoron laboratory, X-ray calibration laboratory and laboratories of retrospective physical dosimetry and biodosimetry. In the upcoming months, the first planned sociology survey on citizen measurements will be performed using representative public groups in all three countries. The first results of the project will be presented at the national as well as international meetings (Days of Radiation Protection, Tabor, Czech Republic, 4 - 7 November 2024 and European Radiation Protection Week, Rome, Italy, 11 - 15 November 2024).
