VII Conference on R&D in Radiation Protection in CIEMAT, Madrid, Spain

On December 19th 2023, the Spanish Society for Radiation Protection (SEPR) and the Spanish Platform for R&D in Radiation Protection (PEPRI) jointly organized the VII Conference on R&D in Radiation Protection, in CIEMAT (Madrid, Spain).

This technical conference is an important meeting point in Spain for the radiation protection community. In it, its professionals share the main news and advances in the matter, as well as the ongoing challenges in this discipline. In this Conference, the representative of CIEMAT in PIANOFORTE Almudena Real presented to the audience the news of the Partnership. She briefly summarised the objectives and activities to be done in the nine projects approved to be funded in the 1st PIANOFORTE Open Call. Research Spanish groups (ISGlobal, CSIC and CIEMAT) participate in three of these projects. In addition, the research topics selected for the 2nd Open Call were presented.
